This Privacy Policy explains how Green Attic ("Green Attic", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the Green Attic Accounting Integration (the "Application"), an internal software integration that connects our accounting systems to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's APIs. The Application is operated for the internal financial operations of Green Attic Insulation, Green Attic Roofing/Solar, EcoBuild+, and their affiliated entities.
The Application is a private, internal tool. It is used by authorized Green Attic personnel and service providers to read and process our own business accounting data. It is not a consumer product and is not offered to the general public.
With authorization granted through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 flow, the Application may access accounting data from the QuickBooks Online company files we own or are authorized to manage, including:
The Application accesses this data on a read-oriented basis to support reporting, reconciliation, and automation. It does not post entries, move money, or transmit anything to customers or vendors without a human approval step.
We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Data retrieved by the Application is processed on infrastructure operated by Green Attic and its cloud service providers (including Cloudflare and Google Cloud). Access is restricted to authorized personnel. OAuth tokens and credentials are stored in an encrypted secrets manager and are never committed to source control or exposed in the Application's interface. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of financial data.

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified. OAuth authorizations can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, which ends the Application's access to that company file.
Because the Application accesses data through Intuit, the administrator of each connected QuickBooks company controls and can revoke the Application's access at any time via QuickBooks Online settings. Requests regarding data handled by the Application can be sent to the contact below.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
